Adler Podiatry Clinic is currently participating in Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) and Venous Leg Ulcer (VLU) research studies utilizing medications and techniques designed to speed up the healing process. For patients enrolled in a study the sponsoring research company covers the cost of supplies and treatment and participants receive a stipend. Adler Podiatry Clinic welcomes Dr. Beth Pearce to our family. Dr. Pearce has been practicing in the Greater Jacksonville area since 1984. She is certified in Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery and provides interventional options for management of lower extremity pain. She has authored several chapters in “Peripheral Nerve Entrapments: Clinical Diagnosis and Management.” Dr. Pearce provides care for all aspects of general foot, ankle and wound care including both surgical and nonsurgical treatments.

Prevention is key! If you have diabetes, check your feet daily for any changes (color, temperature, wounds, even hair growth) and come in to see us at least once a year.

Thanks to Lauren Griffith, RN, BSN who provided an in-service for use of compression therapy for lymphedema or leg sores (ulcers) from varicose veins. Lauren is the area Sales Manager for Sun Scientific (https://www.aero-wrap.com). The Aero Wrap allows patients being treated for swelling to remain ambulatory rather than home bound.
