Charmeka is a compassionate caregiver. She views care in the whole picture. She is a great support for the client and her husband. When the caregiver had to take some time off from work, they could not wait for her return! Charmeka is viewed as a family member. She has a kind heart and provides very special attention and patience for her client who has severe dementia.

About last night - something wonderful happened during our Open House! Morgan Brown from our charity partner Twilight Wish Northeast Florida announced that we are granting a wish submitted by the wonderful folks at Next Day Access to install a wheelchair ramp and walk-in shower conversion to a worthy senior in our community!

This morning’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s kickoff breakfast hosted by Grand Living at Tamaya was full of energy, purpose, and inspiration. As Team Captain for Amada Senior Care, I was proud to represent our amazing team as we gathered with other passionate leaders, volunteers, and advocates in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

At Amada, we see firsthand how Alzheimer’s impacts families—and we’re walking for them. Today reminded me just how powerful this community is when we come together with a shared mission.

Let’s carry this momentum forward and make this year’s walk unforgettable!
