In 2007, a concerned group of women came together to brainstorm ways to provide medical services for women who “fell between the cracks” of available health screenings and treatment. From this initial group, the Onslow Women’s Health was established to provide an avenue for concerned individuals in Onslow County to contribute to an effort to provide needed medical services to women who would not otherwise have access to them. Board of Directors and is a public health nurse, physician, or community leader. OWHF does not provide direct medical services.
