When Ben Sievert was a 6th grader at Jacksonville Country Day School, he and his friends put on a concert in honor of their classmate Ellie, raising over $20,000 for pediatric brain cancer. Years later, Ellie’s family honored that gift by naming a recording studio in our Dorion Family Pediatric Center after Ben’s band, Full Court Press.

Now a medical student, Ben continues the legacy- hosting a concert to raise awareness and funds for the studio.

Thank you, Ben, for carrying Ellie’s memory forward and making music a healing gift for our community
