Our thanks to Alina Kentof for helping members at The Coves do some spiritual introspection work, and much appreciation to Ginette Mizrahi for sharing her family’s Sephardic traditions at River Garden. Come out and cheer on the Jaguars with us on Grandparents Day! We are teaming up with PJ Library and the JCA for a fun afternoon filled with football, crafts and books! A mystery reader will be with us to read Flying High by Julian Edelman to the group. This event is free and open to the community. Sunday, Sep. 7 @ 12:30PM.

It's a happy ending to the work-week when Jorge, one of our former therapists, visits for Latin dancing. The residents love the upbeat music and expressive moves. It's like our own private version of Dancing with the Stars. Thank you!

On Thursday, July 24, the Alzheimer’s Association ‘Brain Bus’ will be visiting our campus. The Brain Bus is an RV - an ADA compliant, fully functional Winnebago. The Brain Bus has interactive stations inside, and it can hold up to eight guests at one time. Staff, residents/members, families and the community are all invited to experience it between 10AM - 1PM.

There is also a community Lunch & Learn program (11:30AM) scheduled for this date. The Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting “Advancing the Science: The Latest in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research”.
