Meet Teddy!!

Teddy is the newest addition to the Her Hope team! He’s in training to become a working animal for those with food allergies.

Little known fact: our founder, Lexie Belle, is a mom to three, all of whom have life threatening food allergies. In her work as a therapist she also works with other moms who experience trauma and compassion fatigue related to caring for children with food allergies. Teddy is an extension of that work.

You may see Teddy around the office as he learns to get used to sights, sounds, and smells out in the world. He’s friendly and eager to learn!

We hope you follow along with us as Teddy learns to become the best working puppy!

**Come Celebrate Our New Location Opening with Us! 🌟**

**Wednesday, July 2, 2025 | 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM**

We are excited to announce the grand opening of our new **Her Hope Behavioral Health** location – a warm and inviting space dedicated to supporting teen girls, women navigating reproductive health challenges, moms with adhd, pregnant and postpartum families, dads, people helpers (physicians, nurses, doulas, midwives, first responders) and those navigating fertility and loss challenges.

At Her Hope, we’ve always believed that mental healthcare should be accessible, empathetic, nurturing, supportive, and evidence-based. We are excited for this space to become an extension of the support, care, and love we give EVERYONE who walks through our doors. This is a place for our birthing community, to experience love, warmth and connection, not competition.

We hope to see all of the amazing birth workers, OBGYNs, therapists, midwives, and others in the birthing community we partner with who share our commitment to supporting pregnant and postpartum families, and women’s reproductive mental health (And we’d love to meet some new ones!)

Come out and meet some of our wonderful clinical team while you’re here and maybe discover some new meaningful collaboration and connection.

Light refreshments and guided space tours will be provided.

**Please RSVP to ensure we can accommodate all attendees.**

Contact Tayler, our Community Connections Coordinator, at **connect@herhopebh.com** to reserve your spot OR head to our Linktree in bio to fill out our RSVP online: https://linktr.ee/herhopebh

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

New research published in reveals a significant decline in maternal mental health in the U.S. from 2016 to 2023. 🔁

📉 The number of mothers reporting “excellent” mental health dropped dramatically.
📉 Rates of poor mental health nearly doubled, especially among single mothers and those whose children are uninsured or on Medicaid.

Why does this matter?
💡 It highlights the urgent need to address systemic pressures like unaffordable childcare, lack of paid leave, and the mental load of motherhood.
💡 It validates what so many moms already feel: burnout, exhaustion, and isolation are real, and they’re not alone.

Thank you, Catherine Pearson for spotlighting this critical issue.

Whew! April was hoppin’ and we are just getting around to sharing what’s happening this month (halfway through the month!).

We had a busy, and WONDERFUL, April visiting our community partners and sharing space with a special group of care providers and their mommas in St. Augustine.(Thank you and ) for having me out! You’ve created such an incredible, safe, grounding, loving space and I’m so glad I got to step foot in it and love on you all and your mommas for a little while. Can’t wait to find time to do it again!

May was off to a BIG start! We’ve announced that we’re moving and can’t wait to reveal our new location soon. I’m so excited for all the ways we are going to create community in this beautiful space we call ours.

Also, if you’re involved in the birth/momma community in any way and would like to learn more about our community partner meetups (and to schedule one), visit our linktree in our bio.

We're Moving!

The Her Hope Team is moving to a new home!

Since opening this practice, nearly 10 years ago, I dreamed of creating a space that would draw in the community; that would create opportunities for connection; and that would provide a safe haven for teen girls, women, birth workers, medical staff, physicians and postpartum families to heal.

After a year and a half of hoping, praying, and looking, we've finally found that space and we can't wait to welcome you, our precious community, in.

We aren't ready to reveal our new location just yet. But be on the look out for our location reveal next month!

Have any guesses as to where we might be going? Drop some guesses in the comments. 😉
