1983 Suzuki GS650 4 cylinder. Bought as a basket case not complete and not running for $200.00. I put a lot of love into this bike to make it alive again. All four carburators are tuned and it's ready for it's reintroduction into society!

Something very satisfying sanding down a gas tank from a motorcycle that's an antique. 45 years old and what a story it must have. I've determined that the original paint was a dark blue. If you count the rings you'll see at least 12 different coats of paint since 1977. I found the design very artistic and expressive as this bike has had many riders and owners. I almost want to keep this natural paint scheme but I promised it would be black when I am done. Enjoy...

Today I had a relapse. I accidentally bought a 1993 Kawasaki Vulcan for $200.00 with title. This just days after accidentally buying a 1983 Suzuki GS 650L for $400.00 with title. Fortunately I was able to get them both running today. I will ask Genevieve to take my truck keys to avoid another slip. The struggle is real. I now have 7 bikes at my house. I've entered the acceptance stage. Btw, tomorrow will be 2 years clean and sober. I'm gonna have to start going to motorcycles anonymous meetings soon. I've realized that I can't have "just one". Pray for me!

Regardless whether you like Donald Trump or despise Donald Trump, this country is making a dangerous choice regarding removing him from the ballot. When I was a kid, there was a man who was the supreme wizard of the ku klux klan who was very vocal in his racist ideas and seriously wanted to be our next president. Nobody even considered taking him off the ballot and the same with the communist party who also ran against Democrats and Republicans without fear of being shut down. Our Great country that I defended for 15 years has always given Any ideal an equal opportunity to run for president. We've never told the American people who to vote for or who not to vote for. American people decide on election day every 4 years ago will lead this country and which direction America will turn to until the next election. Our votes are valid and guaranteed for the following 4 years. Whether you voted for a winning president or not, you are mandated by law to accept the person elected as your president by the majority of people in America. Period. The losing party always concedes to the peoples choice without riots, threats, or refusal to leave. It is how a republic works. Nobody has the right to tell me that I can't vote for someone. We used to even have write in ballots in case you don't like any of the choices. But to limit us on our choices because you don't want that person to be president is not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. Just as telling chick fil a that they must start being open on Sundays or risk being shut down, or telling me that I can only shop at Kroger and not at iga because you don't like iga. We are a country of choices. This includes our president. If you don't want Trump to be our next president, then put someone up against him that could beat him in the most prestigious office in the world. Otherwise, S**U and deal with whatever choice we , as a people, decide on. Our country is absolutely turning into a banana Republic and are quickly losing our Status in the world as a leader for democracy. We need to wake up and start applying laws regarding treason to be enforced against those in our Congress and Senate who do not uphold our constitution. PERIOD!!
