Palm Sunday reminds us that even in seasons of uncertainty, God is still writing a greater story.

We all experience moments where faith feels stretched—but just like the crowd welcomed Jesus with hope, we’re called to keep trusting Him through every transition and unknown.

At Married to Navy Counseling Services, we walk alongside you in those moments—grounded in faith, strengthened in love, and anchored in purpose.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” – John 12:13

I’m not just here to motivate… I’m here to stand with you.

Chemo looks different for everyone.
For me, it looked like lacing up my shoes and running—even on the hardest days.

For someone else, it might look like simply getting out of bed… and that is just as powerful.

To the ones in the fight right now—
I see you.
I hear you.
I honor your strength, whether it’s loud or quiet.

There is no “right” way to survive.
There is only your way—and it is enough. 💛

Not all coping skills are the same - and not all of them will work for you.

That's why therapy isn't one-size-fits-all.

🧠 CBT helps you shift your thoughts
🌊 DBT helps you regulate your emotions
🤍 Person-centered helps you give yourself grace

🌀 The goal is to meet you where you are — and build tools that actually fit your life.

Here are a few myths people get WRONG about therapy:

Therapy isn't just for when life falls apart.
Therapy is a space to process, grow, heal, and better understand yourself.

Georgia…book a consultation today to break the myths and close the gap between what you've heard about therapy and what it truly is.

This verse is resonating with me in real time.

As I typed this, I was reminded why it's so important - not just to me, but to all of us.

Anger is an emotion we can feel so deeply, and for some of us, we feel it often. I see so many people walking around carrying anger in their hearts — whether it comes from being hurt by someone they know or even complete strangers.

We have to learn to be slow to anger at all costs. Anger can cause you to lose so much in such a short amount of time over a temporary emotion.

And hear me clearly — this doesn't mean dismissing your feelings. Your emotions are valid. But it does mean learning to pause, to be slow to react, and to find healthy ways to release that anger when you're in the middle of it.

So for the rest of this week, when you encounter something that offends you and you feel anger rising, let's practice being slow to anger.

Give yourself grace as you learn — but don't forget to extend that same grace to others, even when you feel they don't deserve it.

The way we think shapes the way we feel.
And sometimes... our thoughts aren't telling us the full truth.

One tool I love using with my clients - and even myself - is the 3 C's of Cognitive Therapy:

🧠 Catch the thought
🧠 Check if it's true or helpful
🧠 Change it to something that better serves you

It sounds simple, but it's powerful.
Because not every thought deserves your agreement.

Healing isn't about ignoring your thoughts — it's about learning how to respond to them.

🌀The Middleverse holds space for that kind of growth.
