I just love the holidays! I went with my human family today (Carlene Taylor) to visit my human grands (Meg DeFore and Poppa Bud). Saw my water trial coaches (Tom & Judy Leather) and MY EXTENDED Dog Family! It was nice to be among my people (dogs) where we all have the same great hair!

I was so excited on the drive over, I had my holly scarf on and everything. We saw Santa, played PWD games, learned to jump through a hoop, played in the agility course, went for a swim and best of all got to hang with my full brother Frank! Frank and I are both getting grey but we still got it. The chicks (mom won’t let me say the ‘b’ word even if it is an acceptable dog term) loved us!! 🥰!!! We even chased a few cars down the drive way and there were lots of yummy treats! Each year this party it the best! Thank you! USSPWD Club for bringing us all together and pop (Bud) and gran (Meg) for hosting.

I got to see (from afar) the newest pups. They are soooo. adorable ❤️. These are going to their homes soon but mom said if I am really good I might get a puppy for my birthday this year! (Dad is warming up, thank you Ms. Lou for the pitch. I think it might be working 😉). Happy Holidays, ya’ll!

Yep, we did it! Ms. Julie and Dr. Sandi and Ms. Julie and company were so cool! They really helped me through it. They give the best pets! I am always nervous at testing. I don’t want to let my team or my mom down. Once we got rolling, it was just like meeting friends. Whew! So glad me and Hooper made it! Tomorrow we kick off the UNF Campus Canines! !

Another sunny Saturday led to the addition of a new team - Sara Brennan and Hudson (top left) and three renewal teams - Pat Harkin & George (top right) and Carlene Taylor & Eli (bottom left) and Nancy Miller & Hooper (bottom right). Congratulations to these 4 dogs - and their handlers!

Ohhh Emmmm Gmmmm! I met the coolest soccer STARS today! The UNF Men’s Soccer ⚽️ Team is back in the house! They invited me to come to game and…and…and.. said they would kick me some balls! I can hardly wait! We have future Dr’s of Physical Therapy, PR Wizzards, up and coming business executives and at least one future ‘Going Pro’ soccer player. I am so pumped! We all shared a round of high fives! Man, I love my job!

Ohhhhh. Mmmmmm. Gggggg. Can you believe it! It is time for UNF Hoopers to come back to campus! As ‘Top Dog’ around here, I got to meet some of the new players while helping out my PERCH PEEPs with mental health and wellness assessments as part of regular start of the year physicals.

UNF Athletics is soooooooo committed to student health and wellness that mental, emotional and behavioral symptoms are now assessed just like heart rate, blood pressure and stength and conditioning assessment.
