Dr. Frykberg graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology. He attended Medical College of Virginia Campus, Virginia Commonwealth University where he graduated as a Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Frykberg completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, and he is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has trained as a fellow at the Hospital for Special Surgery located in New York City, which is the number one hospital for joint replacement in the world. During his busy career over the past 10 years, he became immensely interested in hip disease and has performed over 1,000 hip replacement and revision surgeries. He regularly travels the US to speak about revision hip surgery.

Dr. Alexander E. Poor is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in core muscle injuries. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in General Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. After completing a two-year core medicine fellowship with Dr. William C. Meyers at Vincera, he stayed on to practice alongside his mentor. After nearly a decade in practice, he has treated thousands of professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes with core muscle injuries.

Serving as the director of research at the Vincera Institute, he has an interest in basic science and clinical research that advances understanding of core anatomy and the pathophysiology of its associated injuries.

He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.
