Dear Patients,

Due to the recent health concerns regarding COVID-19, we have been monitoring information from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The safety of our patients and team is our primary concern. We always implement stringent infection control protocols in our office. The Bateh Eye Care team is very well trained to implement these protocols. The patient treatment rooms are always disinfected between each patient with hospital grade chemicals. We use single use disposable products when possible. All other equipment used in a patient's eye exam are wiped with hospital grade disinfectant. Our team has increased the frequency with which they sanitize the common areas such as reception area, bathrooms and team break room. We will be removing magazines and anything in the office that is not able to be wiped down with a sanitizing spray. Handles, door k***s, counter tops, bathrooms and any surface that can be wiped down and sprayed will be completed at regular intervals during the work day.

If you or anyone in your family is sick with the flu or cold-like symptoms such as cough, fever, or newly developed shortness of breath, or if you or anyone in your family have recently traveled outside of the United States or have been in contact with someone who has, we ask that you call us at 904-781-6770 to reschedule your appointment.

For the safety of our patients and team we are unable to treat patients who present with any of these symptoms. We will require a one month waiting period for an appointment if you have recently traveled outside of the United States. We will post a set of screening questions to all patients at check in prior to being seated for their scheduled appointment. If you are unsure whether you should cancel an appointment or not, please do not hesitate to call the office for guidance.
