After much thought and going back and forth, I have decided to hang up my pet photography hat. I have loved every critter I have had the honor to photograph and I'm going to miss meeting new furries but I'm going to spend more time with my family and on my personal photography. Thank you so much to all of you who have made this so enjoyable over the last 9 years!! You are the best!!

A couple more photos from last week's session at the dog park. Mac had a great time running around - I love his ears flapping away as he flies! Darrow was having a blast in the pond when he discovered I had treats in my bag. He was my shadow after that! He looks so regal in this shady spot, doesn't he?

I will be posting more photos from this session but here's a quick one to whet your appetite! Today I got to spend my morning with Krista, Darrow, and Mac at Dog Wood Park. Darrow goes everywhere with Krista so Mac was super thrilled to get to come with us this time! :) We definitely wore them out and I bet they both took a hard nap this afternoon - maybe Krista too!

This awesome family also has two kitties and an adorable happy baby but I wanted to post a couple quick comparison shots! I first met Toby and Lola in 2009! They have been through a couple moves across the country but recently returned to Jacksonville so I was super excited to see them today!

Daisy and Floyd are 8 year old basset siblings, adopted together as puppies. They are adorable and so loved by their humans! Daisy may be gaining her angel wings in the not too distant future so we got together this weekend for some treats, fun, and photos.

7 years ago I photographed the cutest family with a dog named Oscar. I never forgot Oscar and his adorable turned out toes so imagine my surprise when I got an email from his mom. She had married her boyfriend and they had a second pup, Stanley, plus a little human on the way. They were coming in to town to visit family and wanted to do another session! I was soooo honored that they thought of me and I loved seeing them again and meeting Stanley too! I know their next adventure with the new little boy coming soon is going to be amazing! :)

I got to spend time with this amazing family last weekend! Please keep my new best friend, Cyndi, in your thoughts as some tests are run for a health issue they are trying to figure out. She is sweet as pie, loves chicken treats, and has those ears that make me melt every time I see them!
