This week was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to lift people up.

A huge thank you to VIB Barbershop Jax and their incredible team of barbers for blessing the men of the Hope House of Jacksonville with free haircuts. What might seem like a simple act is actually something much deeper.

A fresh cut restores confidence.
It restores dignity.
And sometimes, it restores hope.

For men working hard to rebuild their lives and step back into employment and stability, something as simple as looking their best can make a real difference.

To our incredible StrongHER community —

In order to deliver the absolute best experience possible, we have made the decision to postpone the StrongHER Wellness Expo to next month.

This short delay allows us to finalize key event logistics and ensure full participation from our guest speakers specializing in health, mental health, and entrepreneurship — so that you receive maximum value, connection, and impact.

We are committed to creating an empowering, high-quality experience that inspires women to take charge of their health, grow personally, and expand their network.

💜 All tickets will remain valid.
📅 The new confirmed date will be announced shortly.

🙏 Grateful Hearts & Full Plates! 🙌

We want to extend a huge thank you to Waste Not Florida and Celebration Church Food Pantry in Orange Park for an incredible day this week of service and community impact! 🤝✨

Because of this beautiful collaboration, over 200 people in our community received food and support through the Celebration Church in Orange Park food pantry — and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of everyone involved. Waste Not Florida’s mission to rescue food and fight hunger is a powerful force in our region, and today we were honored to stand beside them in service. 

A special shout-out to Waste Not Florida for their vision, heart, and commitment to ensuring that good food reaches people instead of going to waste. Your work inspires us and strengthens our community in ways that matter. 💚

We’re also so encouraged by the men of The Man of the Hope House, who showed up with purpose and willingness to serve — modeling that true strength lies in giving back. 🌟

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of one of our amazing community partners who donated these flip-flops to support our outreach efforts in the community.

Something as simple as a pair of flip-flops can restore dignity, provide comfort, and remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved. For many individuals facing homelessness, hardship, or starting over, meeting basic needs is the first step toward hope and transformation.

At the Ace Foundation of Florida, we believe that real impact happens when communities come together to serve with compassion. Because of partners who care, we are able to reach more people, meet real needs, and share God’s love in tangible ways.

At the Ace Foundation of Florida, we believe that real change happens when compassion becomes action. Today, we were honored to serve members of our community by delivering groceries to individuals in need — including those facing barriers such as food insecurity, lack of transportation, and physical challenges.

This impact would not be possible without the generosity and partnership of those who share our heart for service.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Celebration Church and His Body Ministries, Inc. for their generous donations and commitment to helping us meet real needs within our community. Your support allows hope to reach those who need it most.

A special thank you to our dedicated team member Mariluz Ufret for faithfully delivering the groceries with care and compassion, and to Tammy Williams for coordinating services and ensuring everything came together smoothly. Your dedication reflects the true spirit of servant leadership.

This moment captured in the photo represents what the Ace Foundation of Florida is all about — meeting real needs and serving our community with compassion.

Because of the generosity of our incredible community partners, we were able to deliver groceries to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Many of those we serve are struggling without transportation and access to basic necessities, and today we were honored to help fill that need.

What may seem like a simple grocery delivery is truly something powerful — restored dignity, renewed hope, and a reminder that no one is forgotten.

Touch alone cannot cause a fentanyl overdose.

Let’s keep our focus on facts—not fear. When people understand the truth about fentanyl exposure, they are far more likely to step in and help during an opioid overdose instead of freezing in panic.

Fear can cost precious time. If a responder is worried that simply being near fentanyl could harm them, they may hesitate—or not act at all. That hesitation can be life-threatening for someone who needs immediate help. What does save lives is rescue breathing and Narcan—both simple, effective tools. (Narcan is available through our community at no cost.)

Please don’t walk away from an overdose. You cannot overdose from touching fentanyl or being near it. Only direct ingestion, injection, or snorting poses that risk. Even medical fentanyl patches are specially designed to absorb slowly over many hours—they don’t act instantly.

Misinformation can take lives. I’ve seen how one brave decision can pull someone back from the edge. If you ever face an overdose:
• Call 911
• Stay with the person
• Use Narcan if you have it
• Support breathing until help arrives

If it were your loved one, you’d want someone to do the same.

It’s worth it. It’s always worth it.
