A recent study published in Nutrients (https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/14/12/2408) found that the level of DHA (an essential Omega-3 fatty acid) in red blood cells affects your risk of developing Alzheimer’s. Those observed in the study with the highest levels of DHA had an astonishing 49% lower risk of Alzheimer’s compared to the lowest DHA group.
