July’s Dinner Club Night: A Taste of Japan 🇯🇵✨

What a night! Our July Dinner Club was a flavor-packed journey through Japan, and we can’t stop thinking about it. 🍽️

Here’s a lineup of our courses:

🌱 Vegetable Tempura
Golden, crispy enoki mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and zucchini, all sprinkled with furikake and topped with Kewpie mayo. Crunchy perfection.

🍣 Tuna Duo Roll
A spicy tuna roll with cucumber and avocado, finished with that melt-in-your-mouth brûléed tuna.

🍜 Smoked Cheek Ramen
Rich, smoky ramen with tender cheek meat that warmed our souls and filled our bellies.

🍓 Strawberry Cloud Pancakes
Fluffy pancakes paired with plum wine-poached pears and coconut milk foam. The perfect sweet ending to a perfect night.

🎨🍎 Art in Action! 🍌🖌️

Our residents tapped into their creative sides today during an art session led by our very own talented resident, Kathy! She guided the group in painting their own colorful interpretations of a classic bowl of fruit. From vibrant oranges to deep purples, each masterpiece was as unique as the artist behind it. 🎨🍇

There’s nothing like a little painting to spark conversation, laughter, and imagination. Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your passion and talent with us! 🧡👏

🍋 Nothing says summer like a lemonade stand! 🍋

One of our amazing directors’ kids set up a volunteer-led lemonade stand right here at The Fountains at Mill Cove! They made fresh-squeezed lemonade and handed it out to our residents with big smiles and even bigger hearts. 💛

Donations collected went straight to our Employee Appreciation Fund — what a sweet way to give back! Thank you to everyone who supported this fun and thoughtful gesture.

🎆🇺🇸 We had an amazing time at our 4th of July BBQ here at The Fountains at Mill Cove!

The grill was hot and the vibes were even hotter 🔥🍔🌭🍗 — with hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, beer, wine, and even some White Claws to keep things festive.

Our Resident Programs Director was busy manning the grill while residents danced, laughed, and celebrated with live music from the always fantastic Harvey 🎤🎶
