Deaf Youth in Illinois Need YOU!

Unfortunately, there are many Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing youth in foster care in Illinois and a shortage of foster families who are willing to take on DDBHH youth, especially if they have additional medical needs. These youth may end up in group homes or with families that provide minimal access to language and support. They need you!

Join CHS and Let It Be Us on Thursday, March 6th, from 7:00-8:30pm for a webinar all about how to become a specialized foster parent in Illinois. The event will have ASL interpreters and real-time captioning.

Help us find homes and supports for our Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing youth in care!
