The Coastal Carolina for Substance Abuse Prevention in collaboration with Substance Abuse Prevention Helps Everyone (SAPHE) youth will conduct the Sticker Shock Campaign on Wednesday, February 26th at the Jim Dandy Food Store located at 1884 NC 24 in Newport. Sticker Shock Campaign is a project where the community, youth and alcohol retailers collaborate to alert the public about high alcohol content items. One by one, stickers will be placed on alcoholic beverages informing purchasers of the penalties associated with buying alcohol for minors.
