Still celebrating PT month! Meet LeeAnne who also recently celebrated her birthday!

What is your favorite population/diagnosis to work with?
High school athletes. I do love geriatrics too. Knees are my favorite.

What is your favorite sports team, book, or movie?
I am a diehard ECU fan. I love to read- David Baldacci, James Patterson -action filled books. I love the movie with Cuba Gooding as the underwater diver, the Soul surfer, Officer and a Gentleman.

Do you have any pets?
I have a pet chihuahua named Zia who is 6 years old and very spoiled. She sleeps with me!

If you weren’t a PT, what would you be doing?
I can’t imagine not being a PT but I feel I would be in sports somewhere- Tennis coach?

What is your favorite population/diagnosis to work with?
I love having a mixture of pediatrics and adults. It keeps the day more interesting and balanced. It also helps me broaden my skills.

What is your favorite sports team, book, or movie?
Go Heels! Also, whatever team my son is playing for at the time. I love to read and watch movies, but I don’t have a favorite for either.

Do you have any pets?
I have 1 dog. His name is Rocky, and he is a boxer and walker tree hound mix.

If you weren’t a PT, what would you be doing?
I have thought about this many times throughout my career, and I cannot come up with anything else that I would do.

What is your favorite population/diagnosis to work with?
“I have always enjoyed working with kids, they make the job fun and it’s nice to work with families. I especially love working with birth- one year olds as it’s so much fun to see how much progress they make in the first year.”

Favorite Team: “I went to UNC for undergrad so I will always be a Tar Heel fan!”
Favorite Movie: “Love Actually”
Favorite Book: “The Martian”

If you weren’t a PT, what would you be doing?
“If I was not a PT I would probably do something in travel. I love to travel and love planning our family trips, so something like a travel agent would be fun.”
