Honoring 133 years of tradition, leadership and deckplate excellence, today Naval Hospital Jacksonville celebrated the birthday of the Navy Chief Petty Officer with a ceremony rich in history and pride. From the legacy that shaped the Mess to the leaders who carry it forward today, the spirit remains unwavering.
The celebration was marked with a time-honored cake cutting by Command Master Chief Nkomo Willie and Chief Petty Officer Brandon White.

For displaced TRICARE Beneficiaries - here is now to access your health care.
If you were recently displaced from an overseas duty station or your home abroad, you are STILL covered by TRICARE. This displacement counts as a qualifying life event, which opens a 90-day window for you to update your TRICARE region or make enrollment changes.
Emergency Care - means care for an illness or injury that threatens your life, limb, sight or safety. If you reasonably believe you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Urgent Care - Call the Military Health System Nurse Advice LIne at 800-TRICARE (874-2273) option 1. Visit a TRICARE authorized provider - which can be located at tricare.com/networkproviders
Get care at a military hospital or clinic that offers urgent care services.
Routine care - call 877-451-8659 before getting care or making payments.
STEP 1 - Update DEERS. Go to tricare.com/DEERS and update your address. This registers your QLE.
STEP 2- Choose your enrollment. Temporary or unsure? Stay enrolled with International SOS. You will be treated as a transient.
Permanent relocation: Change enrollment to your new TRICARE region within 90 days.
If you need mental health resources, dial 988 and press 1 or text 838255 or call nurse advice line above.
Prescriptions - Fill the prescription at a military pharmacy or find a retail network pharmacy, or call Express Scripts at 877-363-1303.
