At NMRTC Jacksonville, mission readiness begins with people. Recognizing the Sailors, nurses, and corpsmen alike who deliver exceptional, compassionate care directly supports our command's priorities of Readiness, Resilience, and Retention.

The DAISY Award celebrates our staff who demonstrate clinical excellence, teamwork, compassionate care, and patient advocacy, the same qualities that sustain a medically ready force and ensure world-class care for our patients. By recognizing acts of extraordinary compassion, we strengthen morale, foster professional pride, and reinforce the Navy's core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Here are some photos of our recent recipients. In 2025, we've had 40 staff members receive this recognition. Please take the time to nominate a staff member that has made a difference in your life!
