CELEBRATING & HONORING THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF PASTOR WARREN ANTHONY COOPER SR., February 13, 1961 - July 6, 2025
Pastor Warren A. Cooper Sr. A beloved Senior Pastor/Evangelist, and faithful servant of the Lord, departed peacefully and transitioned to be with the Lord on
July 6,2025. A powerful warrior of the Kingdom of God, who walked faithfully with dedication, obedience and unwavering faith in the will of the Lord for over twenty years. Overseer of Faith Walk Ministry Warriors, Jacksonville, Florida. Where the electrifying power and the anointing of God manifested through his teaching and the Gifts of the Spirit. Pastor Cooper was a source of spiritual strength, wisdom, and encouragement to his congregation and community, always laboring in love for the growth of God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Warren A. Cooper Sr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 13, 1961 to Elizabeth B Cooper and the late Robert L. Cooper. He was the eighth child of nine siblings born to this union.
At a very young age Pastor Cooper received Christ into his life as his personal savior. He received his education in the Duval County Public Schools, graduated from Wolfson High School and continued his academic path at
Edwards Water College. Early in life, he worked alongside his family in their well - known established and successful Barbecue Restaurant business, famously known as “Bob’s Barbecue.” His work ethic, commitment, and servant’s heart were evident not only in ministry but also in his professional life. He later became employed by the Military Sealift Command as a Merchant Seaman, further demonstrating his discipline, courage, and commitment to his job duty. Pastor Cooper was a man of many talents and gifts. He was the owner and operator of a successful professional painting and pressure washing company, bringing excellence and integrity to everything he touched.
As the years passed, the call of God became undeniable during the year of 1998 Pastor Cooper, through humility and obedience, fully surrendered to the will of the Lord, stepping into full-time ministry. His life became a transformation, hope and faithfulness. He ministered to countless souls, always pointing them to the power, mercy, and love of Christ. Pastor Cooper will be remembered as a dedicated shepherd, a powerful teacher/preacher, a compassionate leader, and a man after God’s own heart. His legacy of faith love and unwavering obedience to the Lord will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
Pastor Cooper was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Pastor Patricia Cooper. Together they shared 37 years of marriage, a union rooted in faith, love, and unwavering commitment to God and each other. She stood faithfully by his side throughout life and ministry, their partnership serving as a beautiful example of God’s design for marriage. Pastor Cooper was the proud father of five children, Delvin, Tarolyn, and Jervas Williams, Warren Jr., and Tiffany Cooper and the joyful grandfather of eight grandchildren and with his wisdom, knowledge and skills, he shared with them.
Pastor Cooper was preceded in death by his beloved father, Robert L. Cooper, and five brothers Leon, Robert, Gary, Larry, and Milton Cooper. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Pastor Patricia Cooper; his loving mother Elizabeth B. Cooper; siblings - Gwendolyn (Willie) Valentine, Roberta Carter, Andre’(Mona) Cooper; sister-in-laws - Harriett Jackson, Pamela Campbell, Brenda(Wayne) Smith, Sharon Campbell, and Eula Ziarrkin; Aunt -in-laws - Barbara Smith, Millicent Lamar, Clara Smith, Edmond (Clara) Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Pastor Cooper, …. fought a good fight, have finished the course, and kept the faith- 2Timothy 4:7

Celebration of Life for Pastor Warren Anthony Cooper, Sr. will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00AM in the A.B. Coleman Memorial Chapel, 5660 Moncrief Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32209. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 12PM-3PM at the mortuary.
