Doula Kiana and Doula Vonda are trained, knowledgeable, and experienced with assisting in the process and experience of pregnancy and childbirth. Our role is to provide continuous physical, emotional and informational support to mothers and their partners during labor and birth. We also offer help and tips when appropriate on comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, movement, and positioning. We assist families in gathering information about the course of their labor and other options. As a Childbirth educator, Vonda equips mom's, dads and families to have a calm, peaceful and uncontrived birth using Hypno Birthing® techniques.

For anyone affected by Hurricane Helene, East Tennessee Midwifery and Yonder Midwifery are joining forces to provide free midwifery services for those in need. The birthing suite shown here is located in Oak Ridge, TN, and is available as a safe and welcoming space for those who can no longer give birth where they planned. We are also offering prenatal and postpartum care to those in need and birth services in other safe and accessible locations.
