This is hilarious. One of my current parents sent this to me, because they know I have developed my own phonics program. AND yes I do address silent letters but not the way this gentleman does. Maybe I should start having a special day on a Wednesday, in autumn, probably in February to let the letters speak up.

I am thrilled to have been invited to present at the Florida Association School Psychologists in St. Petersburg, in November. I know I will be sharing about Math, I hope I get to present about Phonics too. We will see. This is a whole new avenue for me to travel. I am so HAPPY!

On March 16th of this year, I shared about Johnny Appleseed to the Jacksonville Chapter. (Last year in May I shared with my local Jean Ribault Chapter.) So I decided to put it into a PDF so others, if interested in learning "Why did go around and plant all those apple seeds?" I believe I have discovered the answer. This happens to be my grandson. He has been working with me since fall. We are using my Math Made Fun Cards to help him in reading, writing, and . He has gotten so good in math, he can design and play his own Simple Sudoku. Play Johnny Appleseed Card Game where you play a go fish type game to add the two numbers to make a ten. Bucks Bingo with pennies to add up any two numbers up to 20. And NOW he can play with a Head Start. He's AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Well, I know this is going to sound strange, but I won a virtual award two years ago from JASPA for Personal Achievement. I finally was handed the award last night at our real social gathering. I had to think.....what did I win this for? Then I remembered I had just published "The Merritt Way A Documentary." It shows two patients going through therapy with me and graduating. It was pre-Covid, so no masks and short hair. Now, I'm letting my hair grow long and still very happy with my Documentary.
