Aloha from our very own Brookdale Beach Resort! Today at our Ladies' Tea Party, we decided to escape the states and travel to our own private island. All-inclusive, very exclusive, but not too reclusive. We had our fill of island pleasantries, calming music, and some pretty cool gal-pals who just want to let our hair down and have some fun! July's heat was brutal, but it didn't burn any bridges here! We definitely spent the month building more meaning memories and strengthening our sense of community within each other. With each passing day we were met with new victories, new tastes, new grooves, and even more, new neighbors. Our Brookdale Mandarin family just keeps on growing. August, we hope you are ready for us because we are coming in "hot"!

We are redefining the word "hot wheels" on this hot summer day as our in-house Select Rehab Occupational Therapist, Madison, cools our brakes with a much-needed wash. Cleaning assistive devices is crucial for device longevity, optimal function, and so much more. Madison explained the importance of the upkeep of all our devices while providing service with a smile! Now, who doesn't love that?

Who knew one could have so much fun playing Brookdale Trivia? Friends for Life trivia was both fun and educational. Our Sales Director, Becky, put our knowledge to the test, and we passed with flying colors. Learning so much about this awesome program allowed us to learn how we can choose our own neighbors and gain rewards all at the same time. Brookdale Mandarin is definitely the place to be. We went out and enjoyed this restaurant down in Old Town, where sunset views from the wooden deck are just breathtaking.
