Have you ever felt like no matter how much you work out, something still isn’t quite right? Maybe you’re dealing with stubborn belly bulge, back pain, leaking when you sneeze, or just feeling weaker than you should. And despite all the sit-ups, planks, and squats… nothing seems to change.

I get it. I spent 35 years as a fitness professional thinking I had all the answers when it came to strength and the core. I trained hard, taught others to do the same, and believed that if we just worked out smarter, we’d get the results we wanted.

But then—everything I thought I knew was turned upside down.

I realized I had been training only half of the core. And not even the most important half!

The truth is, your body has two cores:

1. The outer core—the abs and muscles you can see and feel.

2. The inner core—the deep, hidden system that controls your shape, continence, and movement.

Most of us have been training only the outer core, without realizing that the inner core has to fire first. Think of it like a foundation: if the inside isn’t strong, the outside will struggle.

Your inner core works differently—it’s not something you can just “squeeze” like a bicep or a crunch. Instead, it functions like a pressure capsule with a top (diaphragm), bottom (pelvic floor), front (deep abs), and back (fascia). This system fires before movement, setting you up for strength, stability, and control.

When your inner core isn’t working properly, your body compensates—causing belly bulge, leaking, back pain, or even prolapse.

The good news? You can wake it up and retrain your inner core, and once you do, everything changes.

Experiencing urinary incontinence? Suffering from lower back pain? Noticing a low belly bulge?

Here’s why.

You actually possess an ‘inner’ core that has likely gone unmentioned.
We refer to it as the Corset.

The Corset: Your Built-In Support System

Your inner core functions similarly to a powerful Corset wrapped around your spine and organs, comprising:
• Diaphragm (top) – Your primary breathing muscle
• Pelvic floor (bottom) – A three-layered muscular base of support
• Transverse abdominis (front) – The deepest abdominal layer
• Thoracolumbar fascia (back and sides) – Similar to the cotton part of a corset, it provides stability without stretching.

Its function?

If it’s activated BEFORE movement… it will reduce incontinence, alleviate pain, and eliminate the low belly bulge.

This ‘activation’ occurs automatically when your nervous system functions correctly. However, for most individuals, the system is dormant—and their outer muscles struggle to compensate.

Which is why we experience pain, incontinence, excess belly fat, and a multitude of other issues.

 Back pain and Urinary leakage is a common problem .. I was going to say in Menopause, but it’s a common problem for Women after the age of 17.

Anything that does not allow you to bend over is making this problem, worse.

Skip the Slip on shoes, they’re only enabling your back pain and Pelvic floor disfunction.

Instead, learn how to bend over without pinching nerves and causing more backpain and urinary leakage, you don’t have to spend the remaining years of your life as an invalid..

Sitting on high toilets ( which most of them are high these days because people don’t like to get off something that’s low) ….and slipping onto these shoes are increasing the Backpain and incontinent surgeries because we’re NOT moving our bodies like we should😉💪🏌🏻‍♂️
