Join MWR this Saturday, March 28 at the indoor pool for the annual Underwater Egg Hunt. Kids can search for eggs in the water, enjoy time in the pool and take photos with the Easter Bunny. Swimsuits are required for all participants.

The event is designed with children’s recreation and safety in mind. All participants must either pass a swim test or wear a life jacket while staying within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian in the water. Life jackets will be available, or families may bring their own U.S. Coast Guard-approved vest.

Swim tests are offered in advance at the pool to help children participate confidently:
Monday through Thursday, 4 – 7 pm
Event Day: 9:30 – 10:25 am
Swim tests will not be available after the event begins

Thank you to VyStar Credit Union for sponsoring this event. No Navy endorsement implied.

Cold weather is here. If you’re using a space heater to stay warm, follow these safety rules:

âś… Keep it at least 3 feet away from anything that can burn (curtains, bedding, furniture).
âś… Plug directly into a wall outlet. Never use extension cords or power strips.
âś… Turn it off before leaving the room or going to sleep.
âś… Choose a heater with an automatic shut-off feature.

Stay warm, stay safe, and stay JaxReady. Find more winter safety tips at JaxReady.com.
