Dear Doctors Park Pharmacy Customers,
After nearly 47 years as a family-owned and family-run pharmacy, Doctors Park Pharmacy will be closing permanently on Friday, February 27, 2026. This has been a very difficult decision for us, and we want to explain why. Since the business was founded in 1979 by Joseph Jarman, it has been our family’s mission to provide personal, trusted care to this community. But in recent years, changes in the pharmacy industry—especially the unfair way Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) pay independent pharmacies—have made it harder and harder for small pharmacies to survive. Because of these challenges, it is no longer possible for us to remain open.
We want to thank you for the trust, kindness, and support you have shown our family and our staff through all these years. Serving you has been one of the greatest honors of Joseph’s life, as well as that of his daughter, Kimberly Sullivan, who has carried on his legacy as our Managing Pharmacist. Many of you have been with us for decades, and we are deeply grateful for every visit, every smile, and every conversation at our counter. As we prepare to close, you may choose where your prescriptions will go next. We will gladly transfer them to any pharmacy you prefer.
Kim will be joining Realo Pharmacy on Piney Green Road in Jacksonville, and if you would like her to continue caring for you and your family, we hope you will consider transferring your prescriptions to her new location— or to one of Realo’s other nearby pharmacies.
