The Magnolia Project is a special Healthy Start initiative to improve the health and wellbeing of women during their childbearing years. The Magnolia Project offers services to women living in Jacksonville zip codes 32208, 32209, 32211, and 32277. Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of women during their childbearing years by empowering communities to address medical, behavioral, cultural and social service needs.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8 session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. Taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises. Information about medications; research related to the biology of brain disorders; gaining empathy, listening, and communication techniques; strategies for handling crises; care for the caregiver, support and services within the community.
