Our Story

Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine was formed when Dr. Albert Volk joined his practice with another provider in 1999. Dr. Volk specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

Dr. Kurtis Hort, who specializes in disorders of the foot and ankle, joined the Practice in 2001. The Practice opened their new state-of-the-art facility in September of 2004. Soon afterwards they were joined by Dr. Brian Haycook, an orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in disorders of the neck and back.

In 2010 the team of surgeons expanded to include Dr. Sina Kasraeian, who in addition to arthroscopy specializes in sports medicine as well. Dr. Casey McClone, a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician joined the group in 2012. Most recently, Dr. Paul Roettges and Dr. Alexander Lampley joined the group. Dr. Paul Roettges is a fellowship trained physician in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Dr. Lampley specializes in the treatment of all disorders of the upper extremity including shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand in both adults and children.

All physicians at Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine are fellowship-trained.
