Dr. Florete works for the Institute of Pain Management in Jacksonville, Florida. A highly esteemed physician of pain management, Dr. Florete uses techniques including nerve blocks, joint injections and other treatments for almost every part of the body. His research on pain management algorithms has been lauded at conferences all around the world, and published in various medical journals. The Uni

versity of Florida College of Medicine acknowledged Dr. Florete with a Community Service Award for his excellence in performing medicine for Jacksonville citizens. In 1981, Dr. Florete received his degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. He then completed his internship and part of his residency at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, then came to Florida for the remaining part of his anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Florete has background and fellowships in cardiac care (University of the Philippines) and critical care medicine (University of Florida).
