Our dining room turned into a 1970s throwback, and we grooved our way through a menu of retro classics. Mushroom rice pilaf, beef bourguignon, poached salmon, and even Black Forest cake — we enjoyed every bite while celebrating the joy of food, community, and a touch of nostalgia.

What better way to stay happy and healthy than with a bit of line dancing? It’s great for balance, memory, and heart health—but best of all, it keeps us connected as we dance together.

Poolside, with the sun on our faces and a guitar in the background—this was a summer community celebration! 🌞

Our End-of-Summer Pool Party was the perfect chance to enjoy some fun. We relished juicy grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken skewers, along with homemade pasta salad, fresh fruit salad, and ice-cold Coronas.

A live guitarist and vocalist provided the perfect soundtrack as we savored the last days of summer, because happy, healthy, and purposeful living is always in season! 🍔🍉💛

We explored exhibits from the Revolutionary War to Iraq and Afghanistan, each one reminding us of the resilience and strength of those who served.

We experienced it firsthand while helping Presbyterian Social Ministries sort clothing donations. It also helps our sense of community, supports our well-being, and gives us the joy of knowing we’ve made a positive impact.

Our Iron Chef Competition was a huge success! 🧑‍🍳🥗

Chefs Travis and Chef Andy impressed us with their artistry and flavor in an exciting culinary showdown, but it was Executive Director Travis who claimed victory this time.

With scratch-made creations, local flavors, and plenty of friendly competition, they kept us on the edge of our seats.

A special thanks to Chef Joe for curating such a lively, joyful experience—we’re already looking forward to next year’s competition! 🤩

The NFL season has begun, and our community knows how to get in the spirit! 🏈✨

This past week, we gathered to kick off the NFL season with a tasty lunch that featured the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. Our talented dining team served Philly cheesesteaks, mac & cheese, and blueberry cobbler for the Eagles, along with BBQ brisket, cowboy beans, Texas chili, and cornbread for the Cowboys.

Neighbors, team members, and the community showed their team spirit in style, repping all their favorite NFL teams. Here’s to another season of fun, food, and community in senior living! 🎉
