Health and wellness isn't just about diet and exercise. A holistic approach to wellness takes mental, physical, and emotional well-being into consideration, allowing you to improve the whole person and find a true, healthy balance in life. This mindset fits in well with New Season's treatment plans and how our team helps patients not just physically with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), but also mentally and emotionally with counseling and education.

Take more opportunities this month to assess how you feel and how you can set and meet positive wellness goals. Our dedicated team is ready to help and guide you along the way!

The partnerships New Season makes with community organizations allow us to help the whole patient—not only in terms of medication and counseling, but in other ways that improve lives overall. Recently, our Durham Treatment Center partnered with Book Harvest, an incredible organization that aims to provide books and instill a love for reading and learning that can equip families with the language and literacy tools needed to thrive in school, work, and life.

One aspect of this partnership is the installation of a Book Box at the Durham center to encourage children to take home books and strengthen literacy skills. Like Book Harvest, New Season believes the support and time spent with family doing things like reading and learning together can be healing as well as highly beneficial.

In difficult times, there's no greater source of strength than a good friend. For those in recovery from substance use disorder, the weight these wonderful friendships might need to carry is great — and sincerely appreciated. We thank all those who help our patients in areas of their lives where we can't.

Attention Savannah Treatment Center patients: 904 Health will be providing Monday through Friday primary pare, infectious disease, and medication management services! Providers can be met with virtually or in person and accept all the same insurances as New Season—if you don't have insurance, you can pay on a sliding scale as well as have a case manager assist in finding appropriate coverage. Additionally, 904 Health will be able to complete all blood work-related labs and perform EKGs, which we hope will provide an additional level of convenience.

New Season is always excited to remove the barriers to care some of our patients face, allowing us to better provide for them and give them the best chance for long-term recovery.
