Worried about that new mole?

Use the "ABCDE" rule as a guide to detect abnormal changes to your moles:

✅ A for Asymmetry. If one-half of a mole or birthmark does not match the other.
✅ B for Border Irregularity. If the edges are jagged, scalloped like flower petals, or blurred.
✅ C for Color. If the mole has differing shades of brown, black, or other colors, such as blue, red, or white.
✅ D for Diameter. If the mole is more than 6 millimeters across or is growing in size.
✅ E for Evolving. If the mole is changing in size, shape, or color.
