As an additional bonus or a stand-alone class Chrys will teach a Fermentation class the next day. She will share the knowledge and techniques, tips and tricks for mastering your own in home fermentation of fresh vegetables for your personal healthy source of probiotic rich “Live Foods”.
We will also uncrock Dr. Gretchen’s latest batch of lacto fermented sauerkraut for everyone to see the process first hand and try this incredible gut rejuvenating food!

Bonus Opportunity - Private Consultations
Chrys will make herself available for a limited number of private, in-home, personal health and kitchen consultations on Monday March 25th as well as phone consults beginning in April. (Upon her arrival back in Colorado:-). Contact Chrys directly to arrange your consultation at baileychrys@gmail.com . Consultation rates are $185/hour in-home practical consultation, $125/hour phone consultation.
About the Instructor: Chrys Bailey, a whole food and health practitioner since 1969, brings a wealth of practical experience to this class. She has a background in macrobiotics, food combining for health and 50+ years of vegetable fermentation practice. Chrys has raised 8 healthy children and now 7 grandchildren following the principles she has studied and developed. She also has extensive teaching and consulting experience and for decades has provided unique and revolutionary catering and public/Senior meal programs. In all of this she is fueled from a passion for nourishing the body and mind and supporting healthy growth and development of families and communities.
Chrys has dedicated her life to the transformative power of food. As a young woman she managed macrobiotic study houses and has spent the past 5 decades running a specialized catering business. Her focus has always been on feeding her family and community using carefully selected and combined, seasonally fresh, locally sourced, organic foods to provide nourishing, healing meals that dazzle the senses and revitalize the body. Chrys has been a leading figure in the field of food as medicine for over 50 years and loves to teach people how to help heal themselves through the food they eat.
