Wright, the co-founder and owner of the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy (Keiser University) and a nationally recognized specialist in the treatment of postural dysfunction. During his many years of experience and studies, he became acutely aware of the negative physical side effects associated with prolonged exposure to high impact exercise, repetitive movements, and compensatory/sedentary/fixed posturing. Concurrent with Somawürks Jay is a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Working with various allied healthcare professionals his services are available to 3,000 plus employees within the Baptist network. Jay has been a massage instructor for Baptist Medical Center and St. Vincent's Hospital during their merger, and has been involved in the field of massage and bodywork therapy since 1995. Having owned and operated two facilities dedicated to supportive health care, his professional goal is to help educate the general public about the many benefits associated with massage therapy. He continues his studies under some of the most influential leaders in the field of soft tissue injuries and orthopedic massage techniques including: Paul St. John (NMT), James Waslaski (NMT, Sports Rehabilitation), Aaron Mattes (Active Isolated Stretching®), Eric Dalton (Advanced Myoskeletal Techniques®), and Rose Griscom (Institute of Thai Massage).
