Job description:
We are providing patient transport to individuals to and from appointments, from rehab facilities to back home, visiting with family, and also returning them home after a visit to the emergency room.
The individuals we are transporting are traveling via wheelchair or stretcher secured in our vehicles with various restraints and safety belts.
Never done anything like this before? NO PROBLEM! We will train you on everything you need to know to perform the job. Do we pay for the training? OF COURSE, WE DO! All you need is a good driving record and a flexible schedule.
Our vehicle insurance requires a minimum of 3 years of driving history and that the driver is at least 23 years old to be added to our policy.
The job does require lifting, pushing, and pulling of patients on and off the stretchers and minor assistance in helping patients transfer into their wheelchairs. With all of our patients, we are bedside to the doctor’s side meaning that we go inside to our patient's residences and assist them out to our vehicles and inside to the appointments, rather than waiting for them outside and dropping them off at the front door.
