Dr. Allain Girouard: (Spine & Extremities Surgeon)

Dr. Girouard is a board certified surgeon who has been on staff in the Orthopedic department at Flagler hospital for over 15 years. Prior to his work in Florida, he worked and Studied in Canada. His experience as an Emergency Room Physician at Dumont Hospital and Stella Marie de Kent hospital has attributed to his instinctual knowledge about injuries incurred from accidents relating to Orthopedics. When Dr Girouard isn't busy treating patients, he is an avid alpine water skier and enjoys cycling. Dr. Mario Pereira: (Spine and Extremities Surgeon)

Dr. Mario Pereira served in the US Army as an enlisted soldier in the first Persian Gulf conflict as a Chemical Weapons Specialist and a Combat Medic. Subsequently, Dr. Pereira attended SUNY at Buffalo for his undergraduate studies and obtained a BS in Physical Therapy. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and practiced his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Pereira then attended the renowned Texas Back Institute for his fellowship training in spine surgery with an emphasis in minimally invasive spinal surgery. Currently, Dr. Pereira is certified in the Synthes Prodisc (C and L) artificial disc replacements, kyphoplasty. Locations:
