Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, with big dreams of working in the medical field, this doctor moved to Jacksonville and became a medical provider for over 25 years.

Dear patients. If you recieve a call from a woman named Luna or any lab or medical equipment company asking for your information and claiming they are from our office please disregard and call us at 904-800-2332. There are fraudulent entities that try to convince patients that a physician has ordered a certain test or equipment. With technology today they can mask their phones so the caller ID says JAX Family Care or copies our number. With all the data breaches that have happend over past the couple years to insurance companies, hospital systems, and large telecommunications providers much of our personal information is on the dark web. Sometimes we also get orders that a patient wants a specific lab or brace, and we then verify with patient if true. That is why we must all do our part.

At JAX Family Care if one of those fraudulent entities succeeds in ordering a false test or equipment they will fax the order to us for approval. We review all documents that arrive and will not sign any suspicious order. We report it to the proper authorities and contact patient to verify if they ordered or not. In conclusion please remember to only discuss information or text with the team you know at JAX Family Care. Always call our main number or text us at our main number.
