Position: Operations Manager – Home Care Agency
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing home care agency. This person will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing caregivers, coordinating client care, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff & Caregiver Management
-Oversee caregiver scheduling, onboarding, supervision, and ongoing training
-Ensure adequate caregiver coverage for all active clients
-Monitor caregiver performance and provide support and guidance as needed
-Handle staff concerns, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations
Client Services & Coordination
-Serve as the primary point of contact for client intake and care plan implementation
-Conduct client assessments and service plan reviews
-Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
-Coordinate with case managers and healthcare professionals
Operations & Compliance
-Ensure compliance with AHCA regulations and Medicaid guidelines
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
-Manage timesheets, billing, and payroll coordination with the admin team
-Support licensing, audits, and state reporting requirements
Quality Assurance & Growth
-Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvements
Assist in developing marketing and outreach strategies to grow the agency
Build relationships with local community resources, support programs, and referral sources
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services (supervisory/management role preferred)
Knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations and Medicaid programs
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Strong computer and scheduling software proficiency (e.g., swyftops, googlesheet, HHA Exchange, EVV Tellus,and Changehealthcare)
Must pass Level 2 background screening
