Valentine’s Day can mean different things.

For some, it’s celebration.
For others, it’s complicated.
And for many couples, it’s somewhere in between.

Love isn’t about perfection.
It’s about choosing each other —
especially when things feel misaligned, stressed, or distant.

The strongest relationships aren’t the ones without conflict.
They’re the ones willing to grow through it.

💛 This Valentine’s Day, ask yourself:
When was the last time we intentionally invested in our relationship?

👉 Comment below:
“Celebrating” or “Growing”

No matter where you are — both are valid.

🗓️ If your relationship needs intentional care,
we’re here to help.

Couples counseling and workshops available.

Save this as a reminder that love is built, not just felt.

Healthy love isn’t perfect love.

What does intentional love look like to you? 👇

Some couples don’t argue.
They slowly drift.

They assume things.
Avoid hard conversations.
Hope clarity will come naturally.

But clarity is built — not found.

And needing help realigning
doesn’t mean something is wrong.

It means your relationship is entering a growth season.

That’s not failure.
That’s maturity.

👉 Do you feel aligned with your partner right now?

Be honest.

✨ Meet Alexis ✨
Hi, I’m Alexis — a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) here in North Carolina. I love walking alongside children, teens, and young adults as they navigate life’s ups and downs.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy because something feels heavy, confusing, or simply “not like me.” You might feel stuck. Overwhelmed. Disconnected from yourself. Or unsure how to move forward.

You may be navigating:
• anxiety that won’t quiet down
• depression that makes everyday tasks feel exhausting
• relationship or family stress
• major life transitions
• big emotions that feel hard to manage
• the invisible weight many military-connected individuals carry

Whether you’re a child learning how to understand big feelings, a teen trying to make sense of the world, or a young adult discovering who you are — therapy is your space to slow down.

My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as we explore what’s happening beneath the surface and discover new ways to cope, heal, and grow.

✨ What therapy with me looks like:
All sessions are fully remote, allowing support and connection wherever you are. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based strategies. I am trained in anger management and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and I am also a Reiki Level 2 healer for those interested in incorporating energy-based support into sessions.

Therapy with me is a space where your story matters. Together, we’ll work toward self-awareness, confidence, and rebuilding yourself into the person you know you can be — with compassion, clarity, and strength.

Some of us didn’t grow up hearing:

“It’s okay to talk about your feelings.”

We heard:
Be strong.
Don’t embarrass the family.
Handle it privately.

And we did.

But strength isn’t silence.
And healing doesn’t mean rejecting your culture.

It means expanding it.

You can honor where you come from
and still choose support.

In many families…
therapy wasn’t something we talked about.

You were taught to be strong.
To keep family matters private.
To pray harder.
To push through.

And maybe you did.

But strength doesn’t mean suffering in silence.

Breaking generational patterns isn’t disrespectful.
It’s courageous.

You can love your culture
and still choose healing.

👉 Did you grow up in a home where therapy wasn’t discussed?

✨ Hello, I’m Joshyra Oliver, LCMHCA ✨
I’m passionate about helping people find balance between what they can control—and peace within what they can’t.

I work primarily with adults and couples navigating past experiences or major life transitions, using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Reality Therapy to guide growth and self-understanding.

I’m also excited to begin working with children (ages 7–12), helping them express emotions and build resilience through a safe, caring space.

Originally from New Jersey, I bring my Puerto Rican and Dominican roots, bilingual (Spanish-English) background, and a deep belief that counseling is a collaborative journey—where your story leads the way.

Outside the office, I love to unwind with reading and gaming (Assassin’s Creed and Sims 4 fans, I see you! 🎮).

💛 I’m honored to walk beside you as you grow.

They hold space for students in crisis.

They calm classrooms.
They absorb frustration.
They manage trauma they didn’t cause.

And then they’re expected to keep smiling.

Educator burnout isn’t weakness.
It’s what happens when emotional labor goes unsupported.

We ask teachers to be counselors, mentors, protectors, and leaders —
but rarely ask who’s supporting them.

👉 Educators — what feels heaviest right now?
👉 School leaders — what are you noticing in your staff?

Comment below. Let’s start an honest conversation.

Because protecting educators protects students.

💛 Our wellness and stress-management workshops are designed specifically for educators.

✨ Meet Paule Baptiste ✨
Hello everyone! My name is Paule Baptiste, and I’m excited to be part of the Without Limits Counseling team.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and am currently a dedicated Master of Social Work intern at Walden University. My passion lies in making a meaningful difference by supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strengths.

As a former education coordinator, I developed a deep commitment to advocacy, especially when it comes to empowering young people through education and emotional support. I believe that when individuals are given the right tools, resources, and encouragement, real and lasting change is possible.

My goal is to help bridge gaps, reduce barriers, and walk alongside clients as they uncover their unique paths toward growth, lifelong learning, and intellectual development.

I look forward to serving and supporting our community with compassion, intention, and care. 🤍

If you’re ready to start your journey toward growth and healing, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
