Please join us in welcoming Dr. Carolina Paredes Molina, our new medical director at UF Health Family Medicine – Augustine Oaks. She is excited to join the practice and work alongside her team of health care providers in caring for patients and families. Dr. Paredes believes in treating patients like family. She provides comprehensive care, from preventive to management of chronic health conditions. Dr. Paredes also performs gynecologic procedures, including IUD implants and removals, treats chronic pain with steroid injections, and addresses skin conditions with cryotherapy, biopsies and cyst removals. She sees patients ages 18 and older and speaks both English and Spanish.

“OUR CARE NEVER QUITS.” is a way to let the community know more about UF Health Jacksonville’s rich tradition as a trusted health care partner. Our mission is to continue to provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care in the region. Our campaign includes upbeat television and radio commercials, billboards throughout Northeast Florida and, perhaps most importantly, the voice of our employees, who are dedicated to the well-being of our patients and their families. The goal of this new campaign is to showcase the daily contributions of a team that fosters a welcoming and healing environment for our patients.

Noel Roman, LCSW, is welcoming patients at UF Health Family Medicine – Augustine Oaks. He is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience, specializing in counseling multicultural families and veterans. He counsels families and individuals ages 18 and older experiencing anxiety, bereavement, depression, family related issues, mood, psychotic and substance use disorders, PTSD and trauma. Mr. Roman also provides opioid risk assessments. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
