“Living with the loss of a child is a never-ending journey. Finding help shouldn’t be a burden, too," said Rob Reider, cofounder and executive director of the Sad Dads Club, which supports dads who have endured death of a baby during pregnancy, labor or within the first few weeks after birth. The group also welcomes fathers who have lost children to sudden infant death syndrome and those who have lost older and even adult children.
After Brad Bailey buried his stillborn son, his wife encouraged him to join Sad Dads Club, a nonprofit with peer-to-peer community and support for bereaved fathers.
