Dr, Paredes, medical director at UF Health Family Medicine – Augustine Oaks explains why it's important to have a primary care doctor.

Good health starts with a strong foundation that begins with a trusted primary care doctor. Building a relationship with your primary care provider means having someone who understands your full health picture and can guide you if you ever need to see a specialist. Regular check-ins help you stay ahead of health issues and focus on prevention, not just treatment.
