Colynne came to Riverside Post Acute for our Program following a right total knee replacement.

Colynne suffered for years with pain limiting her mobility, but in just a short week she is moving and grooving thanks to her care team and her physical therapy team!

Our recent patient came to us from Shands Trauma to recover from a motor vehicle accident. Through her individualized recovery plan and personalized physical therapy sessions, she is now walking with minimal assistance and is looking forward to returning home to enjoy her hobbies!

What a true honor it was to welcome back an old friend to Riverside Post-Acute today 💙

Jeanette Yates — a devoted daughter of one of our former patients — returned not just with memories, but with a mission.

After walking the deeply personal journey of caring for her mother, Jeanette authored From Guilt to Good Enough: A Caregiver’s Journey of Overcoming Burnout to Healing Childhood and Trauma. Her book speaks to the silent struggles so many caregivers carry — guilt, exhaustion, unresolved trauma — and the powerful path toward healing. But her story didn’t end with the final chapter.

Jeanette has continued giving back to families in need through multiple community speaker series focused on caregiver burnout, emotional resilience, and healing. She understands the weight caregivers carry — because she’s lived it. And now, she’s using her voice to help others move from surviving to healing.

If you or someone you know is navigating the caregiver journey and could benefit from her insight and support, please reach out for more information.
