Attention!! Due to Holiday Party prep, unpredictable weather, and busy nature of the season, the JACIL office may be closed periodically over the next couple of weeks. Please call ahead at (217) 245-8371 to make an appointment so we don't miss you. If you stop by without calling first we may not be here and able to help you.

Also, JACIL's Annual Consumer Christmas Party is on December 18th at the Pathway Building Conference Room from 1:30 to 3:30. Please enter through The Attic and the Conference Room is directly to the right. Please call and let us know if you will be coming so we know how many to expect.

Hi all, Brooklyn Knapp - JACIL Executive Director here to remind you that tomorrow (November 4th) we will be holding a memorial for Susan Nolls. Susan worked for JACIL for many years and touched the lives of so many people and we would like to honor her by gathering and remembering her life.

Place: Pathway Conference Room in Jacksonville, IL (enter through The Attic Thrift Store and go right into the conference room)
Time: 1:00-3:00 PM
An ASL Interpreter will be present.

This event is open to whoever would like to attend and honor Susan by sharing photos or stories. I hope to see you there!

Join us tomorrow, October 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for JACIL's 2nd Annual Safe Trick or Treat! We will each be passing out candy from our offices and we will have the Aktion Club set up in the conference room passing out candy as well. ASL interpreters will be present. JACIL is located at 15 Permac Road in Jacksonville. All ages welcome. Costumes encouraged but not required. If you have any questions please call us at 217-245-8371. We hope to see you all tomorrow!

As many of you know JACIL loans out equipment including but not limited to Wheelchairs, Walkers, Canes, Shower Chairs, and Commodes. Currently we have no Wheelchairs to loan out and a long list of people needing them. If you have any wheelchairs you would be willing to donate or know of anybody that have any that they would be willing to donate please contact JACIL at 217-245-8371. The guest speaker will be Amy from the YMCA and she will showing us exercises that can me done at home to improve mobility. Zoom option is available.
