Can I tell you a secret? I've been living with my girlfriend since quarantine began and she's a nurse so she wakes up at 5am on her work days, and on top of that she makes breakfast so I can jump right into work when I wake up. I loved how much it set me up for success and I was thankful for it but one day she had to run and couldn't make it. I'm so glad that day happened because, it was the act of being taken away, that made me more grateful and appreciative not just for breakfast, but to have someone that loves me that much that they are willing to take the time to set my day up for success when they have their own day to set up as well. That is the definition of love. I love you so much and I'm so grateful for you

When is the last time you had a belly laugh? Not a chuckle, I'm talking about the deep, feel it in your bones, make your body tremble, eyes water, belly laugh. The kind where even the sound of the laugh itself is wavery as it pulses joy, ecstasy, and healing throughout your body. That feeling is amazing to receive and its just as amazing, if not more, to give. That's why comedy is so addicting to me. A lot of people lose that in adulthood, ironically because they're told they need to take life seriously, but then they lose their creativity, their drive, happiness, and instead of life being light it becomes heavy and cold. I say, f**k it. Keep it Sympl and laugh your ass off. Laugh your way into success, the people around you will also appreciate it❤️

Do you have someone in your life who is hurting? Would you do anything in the world to make them feel better? I do, a family member who is battling depression, and it pains me to see them in pain. I want to offer every possible solution that I can think of, but when I do that, none of them ever get through. I have not found a solution, but the one thing that seems to open them up and show hope and light is sympl: Listening. Pure, non-judgmental, non-restrained, full focus listening. What I've found, and this is just personally, but most people know the situation they're in and usually the steps to get out of it. But they don't feel understood, heard, or appreciated. If you can provide those, they can usually provide the solution. So if you have someone like this, don't offer a solution, just offer your undivided attention and love❤️

Did you know you're an expert? Seriously, did you know that there is something you are passionate about and love doing that others would not only love to learn how to do, but would even pay you to learn how to do it? Being an expert can sometimes mean just being one chapter ahead of the people you're teaching to. But a lot of us have a voice in our head that says we could never be an expert, we're not smart enough, and don't have the qualifications...But just look around at all the "experts", Steve Jobs didn't graduate college or know how to code, Elon Musk isn't an expert on rockets, but they were both extremely passionate about the impact their ideas could make. That's what true experts do, they become wildly passionate about an idea, then they become leaders when they help others enjoy that same passion. Keep It Sympl: Think about what you're really passionate about and you will discover your superpower that you are meant to share with the world⚡️

Want to know the number one secret to winning races? Start before the competition😂. One of the best ways to get ahead in the day is to start before it does. Even if you don't move as fast when you wake up early, you buy yourself time to get organized, get a plan in place, and knock out some of your most important work before anyone else even gets started. Give it a try and Keep it Sympl: wake up an hour earlier than normal and see what impact it has on your day, I bet it's a bigger shift than you think!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there👩‍👧‍👦. There was a great story I'd like to share about a mothers love. In the U.K., people interviewed for a mystery job without a title and the pay was said to be disclosed at the end of the interview. The entire interview was just the job description, it went like this: "You will be working closely with a client, from the time they wake up, to the time they go to bed. When they need to travel you will take them, when they need to eat you will feed them. You will pick up after them and you will clean their laundry. The hours are 6am to 10pm every night, with no days off. Many who take this job stay in it for two decades. The pay is...zero."" Everyone is shocked and they say who in the world would ever take that job, you get no days off, work the entire day for someone else, and don't get paid?? The answer was Sympl: Mothers.

A Mother's Love is unconditional, and it doesn't make logical sense, but they are the true heroes of this world. Some men have also stepped up as Mothers and if you are one of them Happy Mothers day to you too❤️

This couldn't be more true right now. Did anyone else think 2020 was going to be you year?🙋‍♂️I know I did. Our business was on track to double, I was finally writing comedy on a consistent basis, and my relationship was better than its ever been. Then Corona hit, sales dropped to zero. It was scary. But only for a bit. Then we accepted the change, pivoted, and have claimed back 25% of sales. It's not 100% but because we didn't sit still we're moving, I've built a comedy system to write every day, I'm back to sharing my story on here, I've meditated 48 days in a row, and my relationship is stronger than its ever been. I know there's a lot of fear still in the world and I'm fortunate to be able to move forward right now. But if your world got turned upside down, is there a way for you to pivot and put this new time into pursuing something you've always wanted? Or try out something completely new that you now have time for? Keep it Sympl and look for ways to shift⚡️

Want to know the greatest secret of all time? Experience is the best teacher of all things....but the experience doesn't have to be your own. Learn from others who have become before you, who already failed multiple times and are willing to teach you. Don't try to invent the wheel, find someone who's already done what you want to do and start modeling them. Watch them, read their books, listen to their interviews, take their classes. Then start making it your own and building off what they teach you. Keep It Sympl, you got this⚡️

Anyone else here a serial procrastinator? I'll spend a year thinking about how I should start the journey into my dreams and realize the first step takes me 30 minutes. I could try and write the perfect 5 minute set for comedy...or I could just spend 30 minutes, write what comes to mind, go to a free open mic, tell it to the crowd, see what sticks, then build off that and repeat it each week. Guaranteed that doing, testing, reviewing, re-doing would get me to my goals. But instead, I spend 3 months writing 5 minutes, only to hate it and throw it out without ever getting feedback...Sound familiar? Experience is where skills are truly developed. It's easy to get caught up trying to make things perfect before starting but the truth is, just Keep it Sympl and get out there, you'll learn more as you go than you would waiting⚡️
