In honor of National Hair Style Day……

Our very own Activity Director, Carole, brought something fun and unexpected to the day—having our residents vote “yes” or “no” on her wigs. There was laughter, playful opinions, and so much joy in the room 😊

But what made today truly special was the heart behind it all. Carole shared her why—opening up about her journey and even showing her beautiful head that happens to have no hair. It was a vulnerable, powerful moment that touched every single one of us.

In between the laughs and votes, we were reminded of something so important… to focus on what truly matters and not sweat the small stuff 💫

Carole, thank you for your courage, your authenticity, and the way you bring both FUN and meaning into our community. You are a gift to us all 💕

Last week, Earth Day wasn’t just observed on April 22nd — it was celebrated in the best way possible! 🌎💚

Our residents enjoyed an outdoor picnic and walk, followed by a beautiful visit to Jacksonville Botanical Gardens, where we took in all the wonders and amazement of Mother Nature. 🌿🌸

The celebration continued with residents creating their own mini succulent terrariums and giving each one a special name! 🌵✨

Happy International Creativity Day! 🎨🌍🐚

Yesterday, residents turned everyday materials into something special by refurbishing old napkin backings and transforming them into beautiful seashell trinket holders for keys, jewelry, and other small treasures.

To add an extra creative touch, residents pulled the names of different countries and painted the inside of their seashells with unique designs inspired by their selections. Creativity is exactly what they did! 🙂

It was a joyful day filled with imagination, laughter, and one-of-a-kind creations.

Each resident pulled a name and created a bracelet based on what they thought that person would love. It wasn’t just about creativity—it was about thoughtfulness, connection, and truly seeing one another. 💕

So what did we learn from this activity?
