We often get clients who ask what is better, App based or Controller based smart home systems. My answer is the typical analogy to clients 20 years ago having 6 or more remotes to control their AV system. Do they want 6 remotes, or 1 easy to use touchscreen? Now its how many apps do you want to have to open and close to control your home.

In addition to all the other cool and fun stuff we offer, from motorized sliding glass doors, motorizes sun shades and screens to TV lifts and drop downs, FulTech also offers smart glass and smart film.

Smart Glass is actual glass that replaces windows, door inserts, etc that has electronic film embedded to allow it to change from translucent to opaque with the flip of a switch, or use your app, if you have a FulTech smart home. This is very clear glass when off and provides a great white board space that can be written on.

We also offer a smart film, which overlays onto existing glass. It is not as clear when off, and you cannot write on the glass like a white board, but is about 50% of the cost of actual smart glass.
