Gratitude for all who joined me on our Rooted in Wellness hike at Hammocks Beach State Park!!

We had a wonderful time exploring the beauty of local nature, learning about medicinal/healing properties of native trees and plants, engaging in grounding practices to connect with the Earth and sampling homemade tea that we made from leaves collected on our walk!

Being in nature provides us with a wide variety of physical, emotional and spiritual benefits and no matter where we live, there is abundant beauty all around. Sometimes we have to
look a little deeper and widen our perspective to see it , but it is always around us.

Can you take a 5 minute pause right now, go outside and experience it for yourself ?

🌱 Sylvotherapy Practitioner 🌿

Sylvotherapy, or Forest Therapy, is the practice of spending time in the woods and forests to promote relaxation, stress reduction, inner peace and overall well being .
Studies show that connecting with the Earth and immersing in nature can have positive effects and therapeutic benefits on our health in a multitude of ways .

Why not set an intention for 2025 to spend more time outside in nature, learn more about the healing /medicinal properties of trees in your own backyard, and connect more with Mother Earth ? And then just notice what happens !!

Beautiful scenes in nature with a beautiful message ✨
These three photos were all taken with me standing in the same spot. My feet never moved. All I did was turn my torso position and rotate my head, yet notice how the view changes. In the first one, the view is obstructed and beauty is blocked . With a slight shift, it opens up a bit in the middle and then with just one more small shift , the full beauty is exposed in the last photo.
The message here is that when we have lost sight of the beauty in life, we don’t always need to make drastic moves to bring it back into our view. Keep your feet firmly on the ground and shift the angle of your viewpoint. Then notice if the obstruction fades into the background and the picture opens up a bit more, revealing the beauty that is always there✨✨✨
And when it does, may you find peace within your heart ✌️
