I have been pondering the upset in our country, just as many of you are doing. I think about it daily, particularly in regard to what is happening to those on Medicaid, those who worship, our police and military, and so many others. Where is the country I grew up in where one I could walk the streets anytime, eat food that wasn't genetically altered or full of pesticide, be proud of our country, and filled with peace. I asked the Masters for insight on this for this newsletter. The Masters are speaking, now.
“We asked that the bulk of this newsletter be written in purple instead of the traditional Red and Blue this holiday is represented by. Can you guess why?
Your leaders, all of them - let’s start with them - are creating hate in your country and in the world. They are not leading with peace in mind. There is continual name calling and disagreement going on; and they don't hesitate to stop asking for money to feed this continuation of insanity. Instead of joining hands when an election is over, and working together using the good ideas that both sides have, many of them, most of them, continue to throw mud at the other side and malign their opponents. All the while they are doing it, they are spreading distrust and fear, making your people hate-filled, afraid and overwhelmed, wondering who is right, what is the best thing to be done, and how do we stop this insanity?
When you are teaching a young child to do something, they do it; and it is not quite a masterpiece – do you criticize them, or do you encourage them? Of course you encourage them.
As adults, in adult conversations, can you be adult enough to show someone who disagrees with you, another way, another perspective, and do it with love and respect? OF COURSE! IF YOU CHOSE TO!
People who were not taught while growing up, that you can use love to work through a difference of opinion, are at a great disadvantage when it comes to handling conflict or different opinions. Many fear conflict, instead of welcoming it as a way to really hear what the other wants, needs or feels.
And that is why for your 4th of July newsletter we have asked the letter color to be purple! As you know, when blended together, Red and Blue creates purple. Long ago, when purple was difficult to mix and more expensive to use, it became reserved for royalty, class, power and divinity, among other things.
What if like purple, your leaders could work together, to create a better world, to utilize the best qualities of the reds and the blues?
If your leaders would run a fair race, and shake hands with each other no matter who wins, knowing they could work together for the good of all, they would create a different world - a Divine World, filled with peace, trust and love. Instead of praising the good of another, they are confusing you by pandering to that lower side of you, that would easily agree that the other side makes bad decisions, makes mistakes, is therefore, hateful. Hate, begets Hate.
Let you all become Purple. Mix your Red and Blue. Raise your vibrations, your perspectives. Believe that you can change the world by creating peace through love.
By changing your perspective and seeing the good, you will be doing your part too. Would you tell your child you hated what they had done? Would you allow a child to use the word hate? You must be the example. You can create a better world through LOVE! The more you practice loving, the more you are able to love. And the more others will catch on.
It sounds so simplistic. Sometimes it is not simple to love – and those are the tests you get, to help you hone your skill. Start a movement! The LOVE MOVEMENT! Respect what is good; and expand those thoughts in others. The “bad” will fall away and you will have helped others to see a different way. YOU are each a piece of, a part of creating LOVE! Peace will come when everyone forgives the mistakes anyone makes and learns to focus on the good in everyone. Will you be a part of creating a world filled with LOVE? "
