"This experience has been truly life-changing. At nearly 300 lbs, I felt miserable—I couldn’t even bend over to put on my shoes. After a friend encouraged me, I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Baptista. We supported each other through our surgeries while our husbands were deployed. The beginning was tough, but I’ve completely redefined my relationship with food and feel better than ever.

Dr. Baptista and his team have been amazing, providing support that keeps me accountable and I feel genuinely cared for. I went from a 4XL to a M/S, from a size 28 dress to a size 6 I still have goals to reach, but each month I see my numbers drop, and I now have the energy to go on walks with my kids and attend Pilates classes.
